Overview
Civil Engineering program is designed based on the evaluation criteria of ABET Inc. (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology, USA). Civil Engineers are equipped with fundamental and specialized knowledge in a wide range of areas. Additionally, the program integrates new knowledge related to computational technology, simulation, data analysis, and artificial intelligence (AI), the language of teaching and learning is English which facilitates students’ quick absorption and transfer of technological advancements from around the world to the domestic construction industry. Graduates of this program have the ability to pursue various career paths and continue to develop their skills, specialized knowledge, and education both domestically and internationally. This aims to train a generation of engineers who can meet the future workforce requirements as the country increasingly integrates with the global economy and the ASEAN community.

Graduates of the Civil Engineering program have various professional opportunities in diverse sectors, both domestically and internationally, including civil construction, transportation infrastructure, and water projects. With a solid foundation of knowledge, they can excel in different positions such as design consultants, appraisers, construction managers, and project supervisors. Additionally, graduates also have the ability to participate in management roles within government agencies specializing in construction, transportation, and water resources (Ministries, Departments, and Local Project Management Boards).
Being trained in an advanced and modern program with numerous opportunities for exposure to scientific research, civil engineering graduates have a significant advantage in accessing and participating in academic research or startup projects utilizing new technologies (smart materials, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and Internet of Things/Connections ) to enhance the efficiency and quality of construction work and infrastructure management.
